The polyethylene covering of the tape reliably protects the connections from external agents, steam, moisture and sunbeams. The tape has a high level of heat resistance in the range from -30 to +80°С. Duct tape is easy-to-use; it is easily torn off by hand in the transverse direction yet has a moderate level of tensile strength in the longitudinal direction.
